        1. Yipee — two Christmas books I’m rushing to put on my must buy list. I still haven’t read anything by Latisha Sexton and I have Rachel Scott McDaniel’s book from last year on my Wishlist for this year and now it looks like I need to add this one too. Good luck, Diane. And yes, received your email – just too busy with RCW to do bingo tallying right now so I’ve starred all the emails and will get to them soon.

        2. Sorry about the Bingo email, dear heart. 😦 I thought about that when I sent it but was afraid it would slip my mind if I waited. Have had such bad brain fog lately. Think it may be from strong injection for UTI. I don’t have any more Bingos for the remainder of RCW week, so you’re good. lol Don’t mean to overwhelm you any more than you already are!

Yes, those books sound delightful! And I really enjoyed Rachel’s last year! It’s still pretty warm here so I’m gonna need something to put me in the Christmas spirit. A few Christmas books ought to fill the bill!

    2. Susan Tuttle just sent out her newsletter a few days ago and said she has a Christmas book coming this season (and one next year too!)

From the newsletter, “James and Amelia star in A Dicken’s of a Christmas and that’s coming your way this holiday season! It’s a little sister’s bff, second chance romance novella that I had a blast writing.”

I’ve read everything she’s written and want to read this one too, A Dickens of a Christmas. It will be like a surprise Christmas present when she reveals the actual release date, haha

Thanks for the Christmas fun Kav! tracey14567 atgmail.com

      1. Ugh to you dealing with a cold. How can that be in your warm climate? You’re supposed to all be hale and hearty with all that sunshiny vitamin d! 🙂 Hope you feel better soon, Tracey. A Dicken’s of a Christmas is a great title. Good luck, Tracey!

      1. Wow, this is super helpful, Tracey. Thank you! I’m making a list and checking it twice. Excited to put some emphasis on indie Christmas stories this year! Now, go to bed with a cup of ginger tea and a good book!

        1. Thanks for the list, Tracey. A lot of folks get change of weather colds here in SC. It’s cold in the mornings & I turn on the heat for a few, then hot in the afternoons so on goes the air con, then cooler in the evenings. Not sure if it’s the same in VA. It’s really hard to know how to dress, so layers are always good. Hope you have a speedy recovery!

        2. You’re welcome Kav, Lori and Diane.

Per the cold, I went to a women’s event at church Fri. night, and they did serve finger foods afterwords, by Sun. night my throat was scratchy. But the number one default I blame is the grocery cart. I’m always cleaning them but could have missed a time or two.

I don’t normally have the high/low change of weather sickness Diane but i anything is possible. It is like that here in Va too, I love the cooler nights when I get to use my quilts.

I’m getting ready to curl up with a suspense that came out today with one of those “eerie” words for my bingo card. Oh yes Kav, must get out my ginger tea!

        3. I’m enjoying a cuppa lemon ginger tea in solidarity! 🙂 I haven’t had to manhandle a grocery cart in years — I use a basket on top of the seat of my rollator. Never thought about how many germs that saves me. lol I’m wondering if living in an apartment building will expose me to more flu bugs what with the elevators and common entrances etc. Best stock up on Vitamin C and zinc. Tis getting to be the season.

    8. I will have to do a bit of research, I haven’t seen many Christmas options yet (or haven’t been paying attention, LOL), but I did see this one yesterday: The Heartfelt Formula by Leslie Kirby DeVooght. I was so excited because I didn’t know she had another book coming out! Plus, the over is super cute. cilydav at hotmail dot com

      1. If you scroll up a bit you will find a longer comment where Tracey listed a bunch of indie Christmas books she found in her ramblings so that might help you with your selections. My Christmas Wishlist is getting to be quite plump. 🙂 Good luck, Cindy!
