      1. Thanks, Kav. I really love the illustrated cover on it as well! Almost spring-ish in the background, but it looks like the friends are wearing light fall sweaters/ jackets or tops. One is wearing socks with her flip flops (that’s me in the morning. lol) Actually like we are in the South atm. Cooler mornings, but the days warm up quickly & everything is still green!

      2. I still have geraniums on my balcony blooming. I guess I’m high enough up that frost doesn’t bother them and the days are warm enough that they see happy. I’ve planted a bunch of spring bulbs in every available pot and eager to see if they survive the winter. I read that if you group them together and keep them watered until it really freezes they should do okay. Fingers crossed. Sigh, it’s barely fall but I’m dreaming of spring planting already! lol

      3. Geraniums will stay pretty happy for awhile & if you push them in a corner during the winter where they can get sunshine but no frost they will often come back in the Spring. Not sure how they’ll do in below zero temps, but I guess you’ll find out! lol I don’t blame you bc as much as we love Fall, we all know what comes after. Ugh! {{{shudder}}}

  2. 3) Not So Very Sensible by Carolyn Miller (Oct 1) This is about two sisters so I think it’s a retelling of Sense & Sensibility!

    Thanks for the delightful week, Kav! dianalflowers at aol dot com

    1. Oohhh, the third Silver Teapot book. And the fourth book is Not Fully Persuaded…so yes, definitely an Austen influence. I think each book features one of the Bennett sisters. I’ve read the first book and loved it but haven’t read the Mr. Knightley one yet. Good luck, Diane!

      1. Same here, Kav. Really enjoyed the 1st one! Will probably skip Mr. Knightley & move on to the Sense & Sensibility retelling since that was my my fave Jane Austen movie. Sometimes I pick & choose in a series according to description & don’t read every book. Just depends. Colleen Coble’s and Chelsey Welborn’s are must read every book series!!
