Reader’s Choice Giveaway – Autumn 2026 Edition – Historical Fiction

Can you believe we’ve reached the last quarter of the year? Autumn is finally here with all it’s colourful glory (in my neck of the woods anyway) and , most exciting of all, we have the rest of the 2026 New Releases to look forward to! Which means it’s time for another (last of the year!) Reader’s Choice Week featuring books releasing in October, November and December 2026.

Here’s how this week’s giveaway works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION genre specific titles with release dates in October, November or December 2026 (up to 3 suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it’s a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: These giveaways are available in paperback or ebook format to US and Canadian readers. Ebooks available internationally if you have a .com kindle account (US Amazon)

Historical Fiction Giveaway Day

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the books in the Historical Fiction genre you would like to win.

Historical Fiction – a full length story or novella or collection of novellas set any time period before 1980. May cross genres such as YA, Suspense, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.

How does it work?

Easy Peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

Publication date must be October, November or December 2026

Each day is genre specific, so only submit titles from that genre

    1. Well, Perrianne, you got an early start and I got a late one but here I am already in bibliophile shock over the first three historicals of the day. Undercover Bookshop sounds sooo good, kind of like an Agatha Christie flare, I’m thinking, so I’m really looking forward to that. I had no idea we were going to get another Roseanna M White Christmas book this year! Eeeeeppp!!! I thought the paperback version of last years would have been it for her. And, while I’m thrilled that Julie Klassen is not breaking with tradition and releasing a novel at the end of the year, I am alarmed that it’s billed as a love triangle. Yikes!!!!!!!       1. I actually got an early but late start since I know that your e-mails drop at 11 PM central time. I’m a little bit of a night owl and sometimes I’ll wait a few more minutes for a Best Reads e-mail drop. I was honestly very pleased with my selections.

        Now don’t lose your mind over all of your tallying. I have no idea how you keep up with all of the entries!

    1. Eeeeppp– make that double eeeeeeppp! I’ve heard about The Sedalia Code but I didn’t realize it was coming out this year! I love Patricia Raybon’s storytelling. And there’s been lots of online buzz about Amy Lynn Green’s WWII Little Women reimagining so I’ve been excited about that one. Good luck, Stephanie!

  11. Another biblical fiction I’ve been waiting for is the third/final book in the Queen Esther’s Court series by Tessa Afshar. I only read a few biblical authors and Connilyn and Tessa are my top 2 I never miss.

    1. Wow – two biblical fiction releases this quarter. My library carries both authors books. I really must make myself just read them! You are always raving about Tessa Afshar and Connilyn Cossette and I know my library is current with both those series so what am I waiting for?! A ‘read out of comfort zone’ reading prompt I guess.       The very first book on my upcoming releases wish list on Amazon is All We Carry Homy by Nicole M Miller, release date is 10/20/26. I don’t think anyone has mentioned it yet!

      1. Yes — fall is here – our leaves are starting to change colour and the nights are blissfully cool. Perfect reading weather! 🙂 All We Carry Home sounds interesting — if I’m right, this author wrote a WWII novel about heroine saving showhoreses in…Poland? Austria? Can’t remember — but in Europe.
