Spring may be shy about making an appearance this year, but we can still look forward to the new season by exploring all the new releases coming out in April, May and June 2026.
Here’s how this week’s giveaway works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION genre specific titles with release dates in April, May or June 2026 (up to 3 suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it’s a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: These giveaways are available in paperback or ebook format to US and Canadian readers. Ebooks available internationally if you have a .com kindle account (US Amazon)
Contemporary Fiction Giveaway Day
To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the books in the Contemporary Fiction genre you would like to win.
Contemporary Fiction – a full length story or novella or collection of novellas set any time after 1980. May cross genres such as YA, Suspense, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.
How does it work?
Easy Peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section and if you win, you win the book you suggested.
BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES
Publication date must be April, May or June 2026
Each day is genre specific, so only submit titles from that genre
Christian Fiction / Closed Door books only please!
You can offer up to three suggestions per genre day BUT they need to be made in 3 separate comments (easier for me to keep track of.)
No email entries this time round since WP comments are working
OF SPECIAL NOTE: IF YOU HAVEN’T COMMENTED ON THIS BLOG BEFORE, YOUR FIRST COMMENT WON’T APPEAR UNTIL I APPROVE IT. AFTER THAT YOUR COMMENTS WILL POST AUTOMATICALLY.
Entrants must submit their own selections (no piggybacking on someone else’s log in.)
It’s helpful to include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments per day. If you choose not to include your email then it’s up to you to contact me if you are a winner.
WINNERS ANNOUNCED ON
Sunday March 29 2026
(You can enter any of the giveaways up until noon EST on Saturday March 28 2026 Winners will be announced the following day.)

Noooooo, not a love triangle! I got super excited when I saw the next National Parks Summer book was coming out but…but…but…feature the dreaded LT?! I might need some hand holding if I’m brave enough to read it! lol And I got a NG copy of More Than Friends so, woot, I’m all set for some compelling listening!!! Good luck, Diane!

Good morning! I think you sent some of your arctic cold my way, only 41 degrees, burr. Definitely an inside reading day, and I’m up for it. Two new books I want to read are out today, woohoo!
Is there anyone who doesn’t have Harbor Pointe by Irene Hannon on their list for April?! Can’t wait to visit Hope Harbor and the crew, Charlie and the gulls 🙂

I absolutely loved Tea with Elephant, but struggled with Gelato at the Villa for some reason. I read it, but skimmed a lot. I think I’ll enjoy a trip to Scotland, tho, better than Italy. Looking forward to it!

I also struggled with Gelato at the Villa, but I’m entering for book three because RJG is one of my very favorite authors:)

Chase the Light by Suzanne Woods Fisher 5/5
I’m curious if you’ll give this one a try Kav, since it has 2 guys interested in the same park ranger, Scout. I’m thinking she has no choice who likes her based on close proximity, the Penobscot guide or the journalist? It has a lot of my favorite things, a lighthouse, century old mystery, a shipwreck and vanished treasure. I’ve always wanted to visit Acadia NP and now I get to through the pages of this book 🙂
Thanks for the fun RCW looking forward to months of new releases and seeing what everyone else is looking forward to. tracey14567 atgmail.com

I’m also curious if Chase the Light will count for mystery tomorrow since they are trying to solve the century old mystery of the lightkeeper’s death and the missing treasure. Not exactly a mystery book, and yet it kind of is…

I’m happy to share all (and I do mean a l l !) of our cold air with you Tracey. 🙂 Yep, I just preordered Harbor Pointe on audible so I’ll be all set come April 7th!!! I still haven’t read either of the first two books in Robin Jones Gunn’s series! Gah! Can they be read out of order? Because the Highlands has caught my fancy!
Ack to favourite authors writing Love triangles! I think I’ll have to let you and Diane read Chase the Light first and let me know how love triangle-y it is. 🙂 (Bwak! that’s my chicken imitation which comes out just before I run screaming, well, clucking away from a LT trope!) And yes, sounds to me like Chase the Light could fit the mystery suspense category as well. Definitely sounds mysterious to me and I hope they solve it when they can take time away from that dreaded LT debacle! Bwahahaha! Good luck, Tracey!

Kav, The Suitcase Sisters series by RJ Gunn are only related as far as it pertains to a pair of friends traveling to various destinations. I knew you’d be drawn to Shortbread in the Highlands, me too. I haven’t read the 2nd book, I’m going to jump right to the Highlands.

Kav, you crack me up! I suddenly had a vision of a chicken squawking around the kitchen with feathers flying everywhere. Throwing a book at the wall. hahaha Tracey & I will hold your hand. If we enjoy it, that is!

You already know I loved Brewed Awakening, glad it made your final cut! So many great novels for us to choose from. And the nature aspects of Chase the Light are perfect for you, Kay, though I’m leery of the love triangle element. Gulp. Good luck!

This is actually the first book in Hannah Currie’s newest series Heirs of Peverell. I believe it’s releasing in June this year, but I don’t know that it’s on Amazon yet since it’s published through WhiteCrown Publishing.
Anyway, I can just choose another book if that makes things less complicated. 😀
