  1. A Very English Christmas novella collection by Carrie Turansky, Marguerite Gray, and Carole Lehr Johnson. Now I know that this counts due to your comment in the Christmas Fiction giveaway…..even if the release date differs from Kindle & paperback. The paperback releases on 10/7.

    1. Yes, dual timelines work in both Historical and Contemporary genre days. It wasn’t so long ago that they were rare but we are getting so many of them now and I am loving it! Good luck, Perrianne!

      1. I LOVE a good dual timeline! I’m a little biased since I’ve followed her since her debut, but Jaime Jo Wright is a master at writing dual timelines

  2. The Fault Between Us by Stephanie Landsem 11/4/25

I’m excited to read this book, because I was in Yellowstone when the earthquake of 1959 occurred. I’m interested in seeing Stephanie’s take on this devastating event. Luckily, our family was safe.

    1. Sense and Suitability is a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!!!! And I can’t believe that time travel series by Gabrielle Meyer is already on the sixth boo! I’ve only read the first one. Ack! Good luck, Sylvia!

    1. I just realized it’s officially the first day of fall. It’s a pleasantly chill rainy day here which means I get to spend the day reading and blogging and not wrestling with unwieldy perennials! A funny fluke when I searched for The Heart of Bennett Hollow on Amazon — it kept sending me to a list of books with bare chested heroes and titles that in no way resembled what I typed! I finally found it on Good Reads!

Your other two choices have struck fear in my heart because — I’m still trying to catch up with Hannah Linder and she has a new one coming out! What a chore it will be to catch up, bwahahaha! I still have to read Garden of the Midnight and Never Forgotten.

Thankfully, I’m only one behind with Jaime Jo Wright and I have Tempest at Annabel’s Lighthouse on my TBR right now. Phew! Good luck, Diane!

      1. Oopsie! The reason you couldn’t find it on Amazon is bc I misspelled it. It’s Bennet Hollow with only one “t”. Sorry about leading you to the steamy stuff! 😅 It doesn’t feel like Fall here at all yet. Lucky you!

I’m not caught up with Hannah’s books either. Almost. But as I learned watching hubby’s fave baseball team with him—almost doesn’t cut it. I try to make him feel better when they lose 5-4 & I’ll tell him, “Well, they almost won!” He replies, “Almost won’t win them the pennant.” What do I know about baseball pennants anyway? hahaha

Happy reading on the rest of your Fall day! 🍁📖

  4. I just happened upon this book as I was looking around. I haven’t read anything from Sian Ann Bessey is a while and this Robin Hood retelling looks like total escape fun as a time slip novel.

    3) The Maid of Sherwood Forrest.

It’s so nice to see all the new fall books, it makes it seem like the seasons really are changing 🙂

      1. No, I haven’t read the first book, but I saw it after I saw this one, must backtrack. And you’re right, entering into the past through a costume shop would be fun!

      2. And very convenient because you don’t have to worry about arriving in 21st century clothes! I don’t think you need to read the first book — Don’t think they even feature the same time period. It’s just the mode of time travel that connects the books….I think, anyway.

  5. The Bell Tolls at Traeger Hall by Jaime Jo Wright – I do enjoy the fact her books qualify under multiple genres. Thanks for the giveaway!

    1. The Gents is one series I’ve been dragging my heels on and for the silliest of reasons. The fashion…and the powdered wigs! I’m a visual reader — I see every scene play out in my mind and picture the characters – it’s like a movie playing in my head and I just can’t get past the fashion trends of that era! 🙂 Good luck, Heidi!

    1. I’m quite captivated by Winterset — that will be a must read for me for sure. And I’ve enjoyed a number of Ashtyn Newbold’s books so, hopefully that one will come out in paperback closer to the release date. Good luck, Heidi!

    1. The Songbird and the Surveyor looks interesting. And, oddly enough it has Denise Weiner on the paperback edition and Denise Farnsworth on the kindle and audible edition. Same cover and description though. Weird. Good luck, Sabrina!

      1. She told me that it’s supposed to be up on Amazon soon. I’m only seeing the Kindle so far. It is available on the publisher website, with accompanying goodies. Not great for those of us not American though.
