Christmas by the Sea by Carla Kelly

My Review:
published in 2020
I’m in twitterpated Regency heaven! What an exceptional collection of Christmas stories! I was only familiar with one author (Sian Ann Bessey) and bought A Hopeful Christmas because I loved the two books I’ve read by her but now I have discovered three new-to-me favourite authors! Woohoo! How cool is that?!
And this is definitely a case of all four novellas being equally matched. Gripping, well-written stories that speak to the true meaning of Christmas with engaging characters and emotional plots. I can’t name a favourite for they all deliver exactly what the title promises — hope. (And some delicious toe-curls besides!)
Will see if the library has a copy of the book.

I’ve had this collection on my radar since you first reviewed. The next week you reviewed Krista Jensen’s book, Miracle Creek Christmas which I won from you and loved! Now I need to backtrack and hunt down A Hopeful Christmas. Happy reading weekend everyone π

Gorgeous cover on A HOPEFUL CHRISTMAS! With the holidays, I do so enjoy having collections of novellas to read – especially Christmas ones. When you still have that “need” to read, they fit in real well when things get so hectic. This collection sounds amazing and is on my forever long TBR list. Thank you for the reminder of a great book!
