Since I’m finding it difficult to read the print in the Love Inspired lines and I don’t do well with ebooks either, I’m reduced to enjoying my LI and LIS books whenever they appear in audio editions. Unfortunately, that means the number of LI and LIS books I read has dwindled.
I still want to support the authors though, so I have started a Love Inspired and Love Inspired Suspense monthly new releases giveaway. Separate days for each line. I’ll list all the books and synopsis in a post and you can choose which book you would like to win if your name is drawn.
FOR THIS GIVEAWAY: Choose ONE of the *July Love Inspired books listed below, add the title to a comment (or in an email – kavluvstoreadATyahooDOTca) and if your name is drawn, that’s the book you will win.
*Just to make things complicated, these books have August as their release month but they actually become available in stores and online on July 23 so I’m calling them July releases?!

I adore sunflowers and yet so do the squirrels in my neighbourhood so I’ve never been successful at growing them. I wonder how farmers manage it? Good luck, Diane!

Interesting question so of course I had to Google it. lol Some use chicken wire fencing and plants around the sunflowers that squirrels don’t like. They dig in my garden and it seems like they love everything. 🙄

I have a squirrel who has made it his life mission to prove that there aren’t actually any plants he doesn’t LOVE. lol So I tried putting chickenwire over a patch where I planted sunflower seeds. The squirrels just reached their little paws through the holes and dug around until they found their target. Left me the hulls to clean up afterwards. 🙂

Well, there goes the chicken wire theory. I thought since marigolds really stink they wouldn’t like those. Ha! Apparently their little noses don’t smell the same way mine does! They seem to be leaving my periwinkles (vinca) alone, though. Their roots are really thick & they come back every summer so maybe that’s why. 🤔

A COMPANION FOR HIS SON by Lee Tobin McClain would be my first choice. I’m automatically drawn to the K-9 stories. Besides, who could pass by that pouch on the cover!
Thank you for the chance to win a copy.
