How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

  • Publication date must be April, May or June 2024
  • Each day is genre specific, so only submit titles from that genre
  • Christian Fiction books only please!
  • You can offer up to three suggestions per genre day BUT they need to be made in 3 separate comments (easier for me to keep track of)
  • No email entries this time round since comments are working on WP

OF SPECIAL NOTE: IF YOU HAVEN’T COMMENTED ON THIS BLOG BEFORE, YOUR FIRST COMMENT WON’T APPEAR UNTIL I APPROVE IT. AFTER THAT YOUR COMMENTS WILL POST AUTOMATICALLY.

  • Entrants must submit their own selections (no piggybacking on someone else’s log in.)
  • It’s helpful to include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments per day. If you choose not to include your email, then it’s up to you to contact me if you are a winner.

Draw will be held and winner announced on

    1. It seems like spring is going to be a Historical Fiction kind of season. 🙂 And interesting that Shelley Shepard Gray is putting out a suspense! I know she has done one or two Love Inspired Suspense novels now. Very interesting! Good luck, Diane!

      1. Shelley can write just about anything she puts her mind to, although I haven’t read her secular novels. I don’t think she’s written any historicals although I’m sure she could If she wanted to! Great author!

      2. Ooooh, yes she has written historicals. A wonderful post civil – war series that I loved. Lone Star Heroes - The Loyal Heart, An Uncommon Hero, and Love Held Captive. Oh…there’s more: Whispers in the Reading Room, Deception on Sable Hill, Secrets of Sloane House. I need to reread some of these.

      3. You’re so right! I had forgotten all about those. 🤔 I think I’ve only read Secrets of Sloane House for some reason. Well then, I’ll betcha she could write a dual timeline with have no issues. Nothing like telling her what to write! hahaha That would be interesting, though!

  4. Well, some how or other they all got numbered as one. Guess that means they are all going to hit the charts as number one. Well, at least that’s my story and I’m sticking with it. :)

    1. 🙂 There seems to be something going on with the numbers in comments…Trixi’s been having troubles too. Maybe WP is playing an April Fool’s Joke early!

So, your first choice — The Way Back — sounds super angsty and emotional! We best have boxes of tissues on hand for that one! And I’m super excited about A Run on Love because I just finished the first book and Toni Shiloh is such an amazing author! Good luck, Kay!

Suzanne Woods Fisher has flower shop novellas with four books coming from March through November, book 2 is A Bouquet of Dreams 6/18. I need to backtrack to the first one.

  6. I had to dip into my suspense list for my next book. Like Diane said thaere don’t seem to be as many contemps releasing, or at least ones I haven’t already read for review. 😉

One Last Chance by Susan Warren 6/4

  7. The Crown Conspiracy by Connie Mann is another suspense I’d like to read. A treasure hunt cold case mystery, may save a throne in the process, with a dash of romance through Germany, the Alps and Venice. The kind of suspense books I like, no terrorism, extreme violence or serial killers, etc., just a fun mystery to solve.

    1. Yes, it’s going to be a Happy Monday afternoon — we’re getting up to 9 (that’s 48 F) and it’s sunny. Spring is creeping in again. Hooray!

I haven’t read anything by Connie Mann in ages! This sounds really good and it says A Speranza Team novel but doesn’t indicate a number so I’m thinking this must be the first in a series? I’ll have to check. Just added it to my list.

Funny how there don’t seem to be as many Contemporary Christian Fiction coming out this spring…I’ll have to do some digging. I’m sure there are some indie ones as well. Good luck, Tracey!

      1. Sigh, everything is relative I guess, your Spring 48F is my temp today and it feels so cold and windy. I’m even making a pot of chili to warm myself up.

I think the Speranza Team is an all girl squad solving mysteries, and this is the first book. I haven’t ever read Connie Mann but I used to see her name floating around reading circles and she has 4 and 5 star reviews on Goodreads. One of my goals is to read new authors each month so this will check that box.

I think there are a decent amount of contemps that are coming soon, but I’ve read 4 or 5 I’d be listing so it’s really just me 🙂

      2. Well, you’ve sent me down a rabbit hole today and I just discovered one of Connie Mann’s books on audible plus which means it’s a free download for me…so I did. 🙂 Thanks, Tracey, I’m in a suspense-y mood of late and I’d totally lost track of this author. And I just came in from a glorious walk in the sunshine — not hat needed. Woohoo! Still wore gloves and a jacket though. Your chili sounds just the thing. I’m making lentil stew. Nothing like a brisk walk and then something yummy to warm your belly. 🙂

    1. Oohhhh, Love Overboard sounds like it’s going to be so much fun!!!! Kinda a mashup of 1950’s sitcoms, cozy mystery and matchmaking all on a cruise ship! Love it! The perfect vacation read, I think. Good luck, Kimmy!

    1. Bwahahaha! For some readers it’s suspense all day every day. 🙂 I’ve been on quite the suspense kick lately. These all look great — surprised that the two Sunrise Publishing books in the same series are coming out a month apart. That’s different. Good luck, Paula!
