Really, what would Christmas be without the anticipatory thrill of looking ahead at potential new reads in the New Year?!
Can you believe that the time for the last Reader’s Choice Week of 2023 has actually arrived? Where did the time go? In a flurry of reading and book browsing no doubt. So, time to once again display your ninja librarian-type skills and uncover the literary gems on the horizon because it’s…
READER’S CHOICE WEEK!
Here’s how this week’s giveaways work: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION genre specific titles with release dates in January, February or March 2024 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it’s a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: These giveaways are available in paperback or ebook format to US and Canadian readers. Ebooks available internationally if you have a .com kindle account (US Amazon.)
IT’S MYSTERY/SUSPENSE FICTION DAY!

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Mystery/Suspense Fiction genre you would like to win.
Mystery/Suspense Fiction – a full length story or novella or collection of novellas where mystery in an important part of the plot. The hero or heroine (or both) are often in peril (more so in suspense.) Can be set in any time period and cross genres such as YA, Amish, dual timeline etc.
How does it work?
Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section and if you win, you win the book you suggested.
BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!
Publican date must be January, February or March 2024
Each day is genre specific, so only submit titles from that genre.
CHRISTIAN FICTION books only please!
You can offer up to three suggestions per genre day BUT they need to be made in 3 speparate comments (easier for me to keep track of.)
No email entries this time round since comments are working on WP
OF SPECIAL NOTE: IF YOU HAVEN’T COMMENTED ON THIS BLOG BEFORE, YOUR FIRST COMMENT WON’T APPEAR UNTIL I APPROVE IT. AFTER THAT YOUR COMMENTS WILL POST AUTOMATICALLY.
Entrants must submit their own selections (no piggybacking on someone else’s log in.)
It’s helpful to include your email (using AT and DOT to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments per day. If you choose not to include your email, then it’s up to you to contact me if you are a winner.
Draw will be held and winner announced on
Saturday December 30 2024
(You can enter any of the giveaways up until noon on December 30. Winners will be announced later that afternoon.)
I’m putting my entries in early because I have a really busy day tomorrow!! Here goes:

Yes, this upcoming winter season seems to be ripe for suspense novels. Wonder if publishers plan it that way? I read suspense all year round but must admit I really crave it during the colder months. Like rom/coms in the summer. Good luck, Tracey!

It’s exciting to have so many new suspense series starting early in the year. Which nudges me to finish up some of the older series on my TBR! Good luck, Tracey!

Today’s my b’day & the grandkids were supposed to come over this eve! We were going to do a b’day/Christmas celebration & I’ve been vomiting since 5 AM. This was the day both my gsons are off work. “It’s my party & I’ll cry if I want to”, who remembers that oldie? I never throw up, not even during Covid! Wahhh…. Guess the tummy bug found me. I know TMI. ugh

Ah, Diane, I am so sorry you are sick — and yucky sick too. No fair!!!! Hopefully you can regroup with your grandkids later on. I’m doing Christmas with my family on the 28th because that’s how it’s gotta work this year so I’ll be solo on Christmas Day. Planning on a reading fest (ha, like every other day!) So grateful to have two church services on Christmas Eve though. Take care, Diane, and good luck!

Thanks, Kav! I’ve been in bed most of the day. I didn’t even stay in bed when I had Covid. I can’t even listen to a book on my Kindle bc my head is splitting! Glad you get to have a Christmas day reading fest & enjoy the Christmas Eve services! I love those. Tomorrow should be a better day.
