So, here’s how this week’s giveaways works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION genre specific titles with release dates in July, August or September 2023 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it’s a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: These giveaways are available in paperback or ebook format to US and Canadian readers. Ebooks available internationally if you have a .com kindle account (US Amazon)
IT’S HISTORICAL ROMANCE / FICTION GIVEAWAY DAY!
To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Historical Romance / Fiction genre you would like to win.
Historical Romance / Fiction — a full length story or novella or collection of novellas set in any time period before 1980. May cross genres such as YA, Suspense, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.
How does it work?
Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section and if you win, you win the book you suggested.
BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!
Publication date must be July, August or September 2023
Each day is genre specific, so only submit titles from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to three suggestions per genre day BUT they need to be made in 3 separate comments (easier for me to keep track of.)
No email entries this time round since comments are working on WP
OF SPECIAL NOTE: IF YOU HAVEN’T COMMENTED ON THIS BLOG BEFORE, YOUR FIRST COMMENT WON’T APPEAR UNTIL I APPROVE IT. AFTER THAT YOUR COMMENTS WILL POST AUTOMATICALLY.
Entrants must submit their own selections (no piggybacking on someone else’s log in.)
It’s helpful to include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments per day. If you choose not to include your email, then it’s up to you to contact me if you are a winner.
Draw will be held and winner announced on
Saturday July 1, 2023
(You can enter any of the giveaways up until noon on July 1. Winners will be announced later that afternoon.)
So anxious to read others’ book finds ESPECIALLY this summer! I’m sure I’ve overlooked quite a few & I need to get my TBR in order! Going to see surgeon for a 2nd opinion & expect to have neck surgery end of July or beginning of Aug. Gonna need plenty to read & plenty of prayers, too, please. 🙂 This sounds interesting & I enjoy this author’s books.

Oh Diane, I’m praying for you. Neck surgery does not sound like fun, but I imagine waiting on it is even worse. You need a literary distraction for sure!
You have me all agog over that dual timeline by Melanie Dobson. I’ve actually toured the Thousand Islands multiple times as I’m on the Canadian side of the seaway and I can picture that castle (wonder if it’s inspired by Bolt Castle?) and the area. And it sounds sooo intriguing. Thanks for starting us off with a thrill!
Your other two choices weren’t on my radar at all either. I have one of Valerie Fraser Luesse’s books languishing on my TBR pile as we ‘speak’. Must get to it so I’m all caught up. Good luck!

Wow about your multiple tours of the Thousand Islands & Bolt Castle looks intriguing! Of course, your comment sent me to Google. lol Wondering if the author tells at the end of the book if the castle was inspired by Bolt Castle.
Trying to be brave about neck surgery, but I get a tummy ache when I think about it. Guess that’s normal when we don’t know what to expect. sigh… One of the 1st things I asked the Dr was, “How will I be able to wash my hair?” Bwahahahaha Thank you for the prayers, dear one!❤

Eeeppp — I didn’t know Sarah E. Ladd’s was due out so soon. Just a couple of weeks. I think that one has got to be an audible preorder for me. Yay! And I’m guessing that Cloak of Scarlet has got to be a Red Ridinghood retelling. Another Yay! Good luck, Melissa!

Well, here we are at Summer RC week, let the fun begin! 🙂
My number one historical pick is:
Voice of the Ancient by Connilyn Cossette
The King’s Men series, book 1, releasing August 15th.
Get a look at that cover, stunning!

Even though I’ve all but given up books that are 400 pages long,
this book intrigues me:
A Beautiful Disguise by Roseanna White
The Imposters series, book 1, August 22nd.
Another gorgeous cover!

This book looks good too!
The Legacy of Longdale Manor by Carrie Turansky
Releasing September 26th
It’s a dual timeline 2012 and 1912, and has a journal, love books with journals!
In addition to being historical it also has a suspense tag so that’ll be interesting.
All three of my choice are by Bethany and all the covers are fantastic.
They are really pulling out all the stops in the art department!
Thanks for planning and continuing on with these RC weeks, Kav.
I think they are everyone’s favorite week each quarter, they are mine.

You can’t go wrong with a Carrie Turansky book, Tracey! It’s her 1st dual timeline & I believe she can pull it off. Not an easy feat combining 2 storylines & making them flow, but if anyone can, she can!

I’m super excited about The Legacy of Longdale Manor, Diane. I might have to do some Carrie Turansky retro-reading while I wait for it to come out.

While I agree that the cover for Voice of the Ancient is stunning, I’m drawn to The Legacy of Longdale Manor’s soft pink and intriguing journal on the cover. Bethany House has an amazing art team that create so many beguiling covers. I’m up for another Carrie Turansky novel so that’s definitely going on my September preorder on audible list (hopefully it will be out on audible.) Yay for y’all doing the hard work of researching these books out for me. Bwahahaha! Good luck, Tracey!

As a side note (putting on my intrepid reporter hat) I wanted to mention for anyone looking that Jody Hedlund’s new series, Colorado Cowgirls, will be out in July. All 4 books will be out July through Sept. The only reason I didn’t pick one those is I have Kindle Unlimited and they’ll be on there.
Have fun picking books, everyone 🙂

Yay for RC Week indeed! Have you read the novella introducing this series, Jackie? It’s called To Enchant a Lady’s Heart and came out in May. Unfortunately, I don’t see any mention of To Marry an English Lord — not on GR or audible or amazon or even the author’s website — so, without even a rough idea of a release date I’d say this book won’t work for our giveaway. Feel free to choose another title.
