Winners will be contacted if they left their email address, otherwise it’s up to the winner to contact me at kavluvstoread AT yahoo DOT ca (please note it’s ca as in Canada, not com.) From time to time a winner and I do not connect so I have a one month time frame on giveaway wins. If I haven’t been able to reach you within 30 days of your win, it will be forfeited. This has happened a few times now, so please, DON’T BE SHY — CONTACT ME IF YOU DIDN’T LEAVE AN EMAIL OR IF I HAVEN’T BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN REACHING YOU!
Books will be ordered or mailed within a week of receiving your address (or email address for ebooks) and I’ll email you to confirm your book is on the way.
LOOKING AHEAD TO NEXT WEEK’S GIVEAWAYS:
Eeeepppp — Time for another (and this blog’s first!) Reader’s Choice Week!!!! I’m sooooooo excited!!! It feels like ages since we last chatted new releases. Well, it’s only been three months but in bibliophile land that is an age, right? I’m so excited to find out which Christian Fiction books you are anticipating the release of in April, May or June 2023l So…drum roll please….I give you Kav’s Best Reads first ever:
READER’S CHOICE
SPRING INTO BOOKS EDITION!!!
In case you’re new here (or need a refresher) here’s what Reader’s Choice Week is all about:
You recommend Christian Fiction titles with release dates in April, May or June 2023 (up to three entries per genre day) and you have a chance at winning one of your suggested titles…or more accurately, an IOU for when the book releases.
OF SPECIAL NOTE: SINCE COMMENTS ARE WORKING IN OUR NEW BLOG HOME, THIS WEEK’S GIVEAWAYS WILL ONLY BE OPEN TO COMMENT ENTRIES (NOT EMAIL ENTRIES THIS WEEK.) ALSO, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU HAVE NOT COMMENTED ON THIS WORDPRESS BLOG BEFORE, YOUR FIRST COMMENT WILL BE HIDDEN UNTIL I APPROVE IT. AFTER I’VE DONE THAT ONCE, YOUR COMMENTS WILL PUBLISH RIGHT AWAY.
But it’s a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details listed each day before entering. Each day is genre specific which means you can only suggest historical titles on historical fiction day etc. Here’s the posting schedule:
Sunday March 26 — Historical Fiction — any full-length novel or novella or collection of novellas set in any time period before 1980. May cross genres such as YA, suspense, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.
Monday March 27 — Contemporary Fiction — any full length novel or novella or collection of novellas set in any time period after 1980. May cross genres such as YA, suspense, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.
Tuesday March 28 — Suspense / Mystery Fiction — any full length novel or novella or collection of novellas where mystery is an important part of the plot. The hero or heroine (or both) are often in peril (more so in suspense.) Can be set in any time period — contemporary or historical — and cross genres such as YA, Amish or dual timelines etc.
Wednesday March 29 — Amish Fiction — any full length novel or novella or collection of novellas where the hero or heroine (or both) are Amish OR the story has significant Amish involvement through Amish secondary characters and Amish community. Can be historical or contemporary and cross genres such as YA, suspense or dual timelines.
Thursday March 30 — General Christian Fiction — Any full length novel or novella or collection of novellas. Any genre including previous selections you’ve made on other days and also for specific genres not covered this week such as Women’s Fiction, Science Fiction, Speculative Fiction, etc.
Friday March 31 — 2022 Reading Goals Wishlist — Time to share our 2023 goals! I’ll share all — the good, the bad and the ugly (!) in my blog post and then, if you’re so inclined, you can share your progress (or not) in a comment. This giveaway is an opportunity for you to snag a title on your TBR list. Just add a book title (anything published up to June 2023) and if your name is drawn that’s the book you’ll win. Oh, and if you want to share your 2023 goals that would be fun too.
WINNERS WILL BE
ANNOUNCED ON
SATURDAY APRIL 1 2023.
HAPPY READING EVERYONE

Congrats winners! EEP! Has it been 3 months already?! I can’t wait for more books to add to my TBR pile bc it’s a little skimpy right now! Well, let’s be real. Skimpy-er than usual. 😂

Skimpy is all in the reader’s eye, right? lol. I’ve been crossing titles off our last Reader’s Choice list so I’m ready for some new books as well.

Congratulations to the winners! So, it is hard to believe are already nearing the end of the first quarter of 2023. Will be looking forward to reading/sharing book suggestions in the first RCW for the new blog home. And do I understand we will do an individual comment box for each suggestion as before and not group in one comment box, even if numbered as 1, 2, 3? I didn’t know if this new site had more or different helpful options for you to tally, analyze, etc.

Yes, it’s easier for me to have the titles in different comment boxes…it’s easier for me to do the tallying that way. Otherwise I’m worried I’d miss some of the entries and get all confused if they are clumped together in one comment. Hope that makes sense.
