April Love Inspired Suspense Giveaway

Since I’m finding it difficult to read the print in the Love Inspired lines and I don’t do well with ebooks either, I’m reduced to enjoying my LI and LIS books whenever they appear in audio editions. Thankfully, a number of the Suspense line make it’s way into my audible library, but not enough to suit me! Unfortunately, that means the number of LI and LIS books I read as dwindled.

I still want to support the authors though, so I have started a Love Inspired and Love Inspired Suspense monthly new releases giveaway. Separate days for each line. I’ll list all the books and synopsis in a post and you can choose which book you would like to win if your name is drawn.

FOR THIS GIVEAWAY: Choose ONE of the *April Love Inspired books listed below, add the title to a comment (or in an email – kavluvstoreadATyahooDOTca) and if your name is drawn, that’s the book you will win.

*Just to make things complicated, these books have May as their release month but they actually become available in stores and online on April 23 so I’m calling them April releases?!

  2. Having read two of them, my choices are of those left. As much as I’d love to read them ALL, if I were fortunate enough to be selected, I would love the opportunity to read COLD CASE TRACKER by Maggie K. Black. I’m just a total “gotta read “gal when it comes to the K-9 stories. That cover just screams action, danger and suspense.

Thank you so much for the chance to win a copy!

  3. Just commenting, as I know this was also discussed last week regarding the print size, print darkness, paper tone, etc. I also have been noticing that more and more to the degree it has somewhat altered my reading habits.  And I have looked at a variety of books and counted, for same size and style books, number of lines per similar pages. For a bit longer book, they seem to be compressing more lines per page. I read a great deal of Bethany and Revell authors plus from various other publishers. Some are worse than others. If more of us speak up on popular blogs such as yours, perhaps someone might take note. I now worry when I gift a book for Christmas or otherwise, delivered directly to the recipient, if it will be a comfortable read.

    1. The more lines per page is what really does me in….the words all jumble together. Gotta imagine that would be difficult for people with different types of reading difficulties. Thankfully I am still able to read the Revell type books. And I am good with hardcover copies which I can get from my library. Large print as well. What’s really strange is that the cozy mysteries I read are the same physical size as a LI book but I can usually read them and that’s because there’s a nice space between lines and the print tends to be a bit larger font too. And the ink is darker. I can understand that publishers are trying to fight rising production costs and perhaps they are gambling that more people read ebooks now so it’s not a big deal.
