It’s a Best Reads blog tradition! Celebrating the month’s new releases the first week of each month.
Because I recently discovered that a book’s success or failure is often determined by first month sales! (Though I bet preorders play into that as well.) Publishing houses look at those stats to determine whether they’ll add on to a series or accept the author’s next manuscript! All that literary goodness hanging in the balance but for a month’s worth of sales! (This was a cozy mystery author, but I imagine all traditional publishers use the same ‘system’.) So I thought I should do my wee little bit to promote Christian Fiction.
By hosting a special ‘Hello – insert month’ giveaway. It’s easy to play along. You just have to choose ONE of the November 2025 new releases on your TBR wishlist (must be Christian Fiction) and mention the title in a comment below (or email me at kavluvstoreadATyahooDOTca) If your name is drawn, that November release is the book you will win and we’re one book closer to keeping our fave authors in business.
GIVEAWAY OPPORTUNITY:
ebook for anyone anywhere who has an Amazon.com kindle account
US – paperback or ebook copy — winner’s choice
Canada -paperback or ebook (in form of an Amazon gift card) or audible.ca audio book (if available) – winner’s choice
Draw will be held and winner announced on Saturday November 9 2025

If I were the very fortunate one selected, my choice would be THE CHRISTMAS STRANGER by Richard Paul Evans.
While this is a new to me author, it sounds absolutely amazing. It must be VERY good to be listed as #1 Best Seller in Christian Literature and Fiction. It’s release date was yesterday, November 4, 2025.
Thank you so much for the chance to win this wonderful book!

Hello November! My petunias & geraniums are still blooming in pots so no mums yet. Maybe in time for Thanksgiving IDK. I had 300 Kindle Rewards points saved so just purchased PROWL by Colleen Coble for $6.99 instead of $9.99!! Seems I’ve been waiting forever for that to release! I really enjoyed Ambush!
Would love to win The Fault Between Us by Stephanie Landsem!! (new to me author)

Brrrr. We have snow in the forecast for the weekend with sleet/rain beginning on Friday so tomorrow is my last gardening day. I better make it count! I really enjoyed Ambush too and am looking forward to Prowl as well. Great deal shopping, Diane! I’ve been seeing The Fault Between Us cropping up on Instagram a lot lately. Good luck!

Snow & sleet?!! Gasp! It’s supposed to be 74° here today. Do y’all just skip fall? lol Or maybe it’s just shorter.
I DO need to give Canada a shoutout. You know I’d been watching baseball w/ hubby, well the Toronto Blue Jays beat hub’s team & made it all the way to the World Series! Yay! They didn’t win, unfortunately the Dodgers did, but Toronto sure gave them a run for their money!! Ok, back to books & bye to baseball til next yr!

Kav, we do too! Starting sometime on Sunday, I am not quite ready for snow!

Cindy, wow! Do you typically get snow this early? Isn’t Old Man Winter aware of the fact he’s not supposed to make an appearance til Dec. 21? lol

Our fall is usually September and October but it was really hot in September and wonky hot and cool in October. Our trees are so confused. We still have quite a few leaves on the trees which can be a problem if we get freezing rain or even enough of an accumulation of wet snow because it will weigh down the leaf laden limbs which means they could snap off and fall into hydro lines etc. I don’t think the snow is going to stick though…more like wet flurries. Still, not the kind of weather you want to be gardening in. Plus the ground is frozen now. Bwahahaha!

Ugh I just looked at our 10 day forecast & we’re supposed to have below freezing temps next Mon!! 😲 I still have beautiful flowers blooming! Ack!! Stay warm & hope your power lines stay up. I love snow, but not ice.

Right now it seems to only be available in ebook so I’m hoping it will come out in paperback too. Going to start checking into that now. Good luck, Cindy!
