      1. I’m getting so far behind on Sarah’s books! She’s such a prolific writer! I’m excited for her Seeking Persephone movie that’s supposed to be coming out later this year!

      1. The French Kitchen looks really intriguing. Love the Julia Child angle. I’ve been reading a cozy mystery featuring Julia Child so this will be a fun addition to my Paris/Julia Child reading. Good luck, Kay!

    1. For anyone who needs an idea, Laura Frantz has a novella, A Fierce Devotion coming out July 30th. It will be on KU so I didn’t pick it, but I’m sure it will be good. It’s a standalone about Bleu Galant from The Seamstress of Acadie. She also said the audio is being worked on so you’ll be able to get it Kav 🙂

        1. I was excited for this one when Laura said, “If I ever wanted to be the heroine in a book this would be the one!” That must mean we are in for one great hero!

I also love her self-publishing name, Stroy Architect

      1. That Gabrielle Meyer book has me intrigued — it could have a Canadian setting but it might also be Minnesota or South Dakota. Guess I’ll have to read it to find out. 🙂 And thrilled about a new Erica Vetsch historical mystery! Though I think I missed the first book in the Of Cloak & Daggers series. Oops. Must catch up. Good luck, Sylvia!

        1. Ugh, I see. I just saw it said September 17th on Goodreads and didn’t bother to check over on Amazon. That’s okay, I’ve always got backups. (It’s never a problem of finding enough books, but of narrowing it down to only three per category!🤣)
So I’ll go with No Stone Unturned by Jenelle Hovde 🙃

        2. I think they must list books on Good Reads waaaay in advance of publications to get readers excited and anticipating the book and they probably just have a rough idea for a publication date. This one said ‘expected in September’ so that must have gotten bumped up a few weeks in real time and they just didn’t correct it on GR. I wonder whose job it is to put all the info on GR? Good luck, Elly!

I really enjoyed the 1st one! IDK how this one slipped by me. I haven’t seen it mentioned online at all.

      1. Kav, I’m thinking since the 1st one was set in Canada this one will be too. Maybe? Near Lake Winnipeg, but so are those other states you mentioned. Guess we’ll see . . .

        1. Actually the 1st one started in Canada & I think they traveled to the US colonies. My memory! I read so many books I can’t keep track of where exactly they’re all set. Ugh

        2. I haven’t read the fur trader one bit it’s on my list! It will be interesting to see where exactly the characters in this book end up. 🙂 Good luck, Diane!

      1. Sorry, Cindy, but this one releases in October. It says expected release in September on GR but all the online stores have the release date as October 14th. Feel free to choose another title. I’m super excited for this one though.
