Reader’s Choice Giveaway, Fall Into Books Edition – Mystery/Suspense

The leaves are starting to change colour, the nights are getting cooler (hallelujah!) and there’s a distinct scent of Autumn in the air. What else is a dedicated bibliophile to do but celebrate the new season with new books?! But I need your help to fatten up my TBR wishlist. So let’s get this weeklong Reader’s Choice party started!

Here’s how this week’s giveaways works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION genre specific titles with release dates in October, November or December 2023 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it’s a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: These giveaways are available in paperback or ebook format to US and Canadian readers. Ebooks available internationally if you have a .com kindle account (US Amazon)

IT’S MYSTERY/SUSPENSE FICTION GIVEAWAY DAY!

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Mystery/Suspense Fiction genre you would like to win.

Mystery/Suspense Fiction — a full length story or novella or collection of novellas where mystery is an important part of the plot. The hero or heroine (or both) are often in peril (more so in suspense.) Can be set in any time period and cross genres such as YA, Amish, dual timeline etc.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

  • Publication date must be October, November or December 2023
  • Each day is genre specific, so only submit titles from that genre
  • Christian Fiction books only please!
  • You can offer up to three suggestions per genre day BUT they need to be made in 3 separate comments (easier for me to keep track of.)
  • No email entries this time round since comments are working on WP

OF SPECIAL NOTE: IF YOU HAVEN’T COMMENTED ON THIS BLOG BEFORE, YOUR FIRST COMMENT WON’T APPEAR UNTIL I APPROVE IT. AFTER THAT YOUR COMMENTS WILL POST AUTOMATICALLY.

  • Entrants must submit their own selections (no piggybacking on someone else’s log in.)
  • It’s helpful to include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments per day. If you choose not to include your email, then it’s up to you to contact me if you are a winner.

Draw will be held and winner announced on

Saturday September 30 , 2023

(You can enter any of the giveaways up until noon on September 30. Winners will be announced later that afternoon.)

  1. OOPS I’m having trouble posting a comment. I’m not sure if any of mine are going through. The first Suspense novel is a new to me author Court Stevens Last Girl Breathing. Does sound suspenseful.

      1. Hi, Kav; I’m not sure you received all my comments on other posts. I don’t know why I’m having issues. I haven’t had trouble before. Could be we are in the middle of packing to move soon. Could be operator error! LOL! Thanks for all you do! Blessings Nora :o)  Nora St.LaurentThe Book Club Network Blog www.psalm516.blogspot.comreviewer

    1. It’s funny — I have to log in after every time I shut down my computer — even though I supposedly have it set to remain logged in. And the first time I post a comment each day, I have to indicate who I’m signing in as (even though I’m logging in?!) so I have to indicate WP and then it lets me comment. Very annoying and I have no idea why. I haven’t touched any settings on my blog. Sigh.

Anyway — good luck, Tracey. I’m pretty jazzed about Christmas in the Crosshairs cause edgy suspense novellas just scream ‘happy holidays’ to me. Bwahahaha!

      1. So what’s happening that you can’t log in? If it’s giving you grief like that, you can just reply to the blog post notification email — that will automatically post a comment. It’s not sent to my private email. That might just be easier. Thanks for persevering. Good luck, Diane!

      2. They make me log in to WordPress each time & when I click onto comment, it doesn’t show up here after I do. Won’t let me sign into my Google acct either. Not sure where option is to send it via notification email. Only way I could get comments to go thru is by logging into my FB via Jetpack.

      3. You’d just reply to the notification in your email and it wills end the comment here. So strange. I have to login again every time my computer has been turned off, but at least it accepts my saved WP login!

I’m worn out! It took me an hr and a 1/2. It’s not so much about winning, it’s the principle of the thing! Couldn’t let wordpress win. Whew, here I come, shower! I’m hot & sweaty. LOL

    1. 😦 I can’t figure out why some people are having issues. It makes me log in each time I turn on my computer and post the first comment of the day, even though I’ve set it to stay logged in. Must be some sort of wonky Word Press upgrade gone awry? I have my logins saved on my computer so all I have to do is click a button and the rest is done for me. Still annoying though. Sorry! Good luck, Diane (in the draw and with WP!)

I almost missed this one! I had another picked out for this category, but was scanning the other comments before adding mine and saw this one was releasing during the included timeframe. I don’t know how I overlooked it when reasearching for my picks!
